No one likes waiting. We often see it as a sign that something isn’t working. Waiting makes us feel like we’re falling behind.
But we have to keep in mind that God’s perfect timing sometimes requires us to wait. And what if we could exist in that waiting space without wasting time?
Waiting shows us what we really put our trust in. Waiting is also a place where deep roots can grow and our faith can be deepened.
Waiting asks us to let go of our plans, timelines, and expected outcomes and fully rely on God.
If you’re in a waiting period right now perhaps you can use this time to learn to let go of the things you were never meant to carry alone.
God is wise enough to not give us everything we ask for, and especially not right when we ask for it because if we got to the destination without being ready, we wouldn’t be able to hold onto the blessing.
Waiting gives us the opportunity to stop spreading ourselves so thin and instead go deeper. It gives us the opportunity to make our faith something we actually live, not just something we think about.
Waiting with God is never wasted.

Your writings/devotionals are SO consistent and timely, Chad. Sometimes I find myself wondering if, after I talk with God , He goes and tells you what He and I have just talked about! Lol!!😂
